Veterinary Receptionist Needed. Greenbush Veterinary Clinic is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team. The right candidate must be able to keep their cool while handling the phone as well as face-to-face interactions with clients. You must possess good spelling, math and keyboarding skills. Prior customer service experience, an ability to multitask and good organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Presenting yourself in a professional manner.
- Clearly communicating with our clients and with team members.
- Addressing a wide variety of client questions and concerns.
- Answering multiple phone lines in a friendly, upbeat and professional manner.
- Use of our practice management software to schedule appointments, create invoices, keep up to date client and patient information, document messages, etc.
- Calling clients to verify appointments and to relay information.
- Understanding and discussing our preventative care recommendations.
- Accurately processing invoices and payments. Daily reconciling payments.
- Providing twice daily patient care every fifth weekend.
- Maintaining a tidy facility and an organized workspace.
- Pitching in to help in other areas of the hospital infrequently.
