Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is a state-of-the-art referral hospital currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Physical Rehabilitation team.

Gold Coast proudly offers a variety of rehabilitation services and modalities, including:
- In-patient/out-patient rehab
- Home exercise programs
- Weight loss management

- Therapeutic laser, electric stimulation, ultrasound, and massage
- Underwater treadmill therapy
- A wide range of therapeutic exercises and equipment
No rehabilitation experience necessary — all training will be provided!
As a Veterinary Assistant on our Rehab team, you will support patients and technicians in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include:
- Safely and gently restraining patients during rehabilitation sessions
- Assisting with physical rehabilitation treatments
- Preparing and maintaining rehab equipment and therapy areas
- Supporting patient handling and movement through various therapies
- Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
- Providing comfort, encouragement, and care to patients and clients
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting
- Confidence and experience in safely restraining animals
- A passion for animal wellness and rehabilitation
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
