Position: Vice President of Operations

Overview:
Meridien Recruiters is proud to partner with a rapidly expanding M&A advisory firm based in Miami in search of a Vice President of Operations . This is a mission-critical executive role responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing internal processes, and scaling infrastructure to support continued growth across complex deal structures and client engagements.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in operational leadership within the financial services, private equity, or M&A ecosystem and a proven ability to design systems that enable cross-functional efficiency and exceptional client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of firm operations including process design, resource management, compliance, and workflow automation
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to align operational strategy with overall business goals
- Drive scalability across deal execution, client onboarding, and internal reporting systems
- Oversee operational KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring to ensure transparency and accountability
- Implement best practices across due diligence support, transaction lifecycle management, and post-merger integration workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and internal teams including finance, legal, HR, and technology support
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline operations, reduce friction, and enable business development teams
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and risk management standards across the firm
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory
- Demonstrated success leading operational strategy for high-growth, transaction-oriented organizations
- Strong understanding of M&A lifecycle, deal process management, and client service delivery
- Expertise in workflow automation, reporting infrastructure, and systems integration
- Excellent communication and organizational leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred

- Base Salary: $290K+ (commensurate with experience)
