The Worcester Railers HC of the ECHL is looking for a FOR CREDIT ONLY Video Analyst Intern during the 2025-2026 Academic Year starting in September and ending in May. Candidates must be current college students and must be able to dedicate 15 hours a week to the internship. Strong verbal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a dynamic, small-office environment. The successful candidate should be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and work long hours (evenings, weekends & holidays included).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interns will be required to attend every Railers HC home game while working remote for away games.
- Assist the coaching staff with capturing, clipping, and editing video content from games and practices.
- Set up and maintain video analysis software, ensuring video and data files are properly integrated and organized for review.
- Create detailed video playlists tailored to individual player development, team performance, and opposition scouting.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of hockey tactics and game strategy.
- Comfortable working with video editing and analysis tools to prepare meaningful and visually clear presentations
- Previous experience with video analysis software.
- Interest or background in data analytics, sports science, or performance analysis is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
- Available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week, including nights and weekends.
- Available to work every home game during the Fall/Winter semester.
- Must have reliable transportation and live in the Worcester or surrounding areas.
