The School of Education invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer in Education position beginning August 1, 2025. This position is a 10-month per year term and is subject to renewal after the 2025-2026 academic year.

One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo, is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 57,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3,300 students from a 14-county area in north-central Indiana. IU Kokomo has around 260 full-time faculty and staff. Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Education courses that are part of the Tomorrow’s Teachers: Growing Our Own high school pathway program. The successful candidate will teach courses using a hybrid delivery model that includes on-campus instruction, virtual instruction, and instruction in participating high school buildings. The position will also provide coordination for the Tomorrow’s Teachers program including responsibilities such as planning and co-facilitating orientations, recruitment activities, partner development meetings, and admission and enrollment.
At a minimum, the successful candidate must hold a master’s degree in Education or a related field and have experience working in P-12 schools. Experience teaching at the college level, and with project coordination is preferred. PhD and ABD applicants are encouraged to apply.
