Your Role
As a Vocational Skills Instructor, you will:
- Teach vocational skills such as MS Excel, Website Development, Money Management, and Conversational Skills using a custom curriculum.
- Coach, supervise, and accompany students in community activities and volunteer engagements, providing guidance to help them build real-world skills, confidence, and independence.
- Support student learning through hands-on group and one-on-one sessions, adapting materials to individual needs.
- Track progress and document assessments to ensure skill development.
- Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment while encouraging independence.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and stakeholders to support member success.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience: 1+ years in vocational education, special education, teaching, or mentoring (preferred).
✅ Skills: Strong communication, mentoring, and program management abilities.
✅ Passion: Empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusion.
✅ Technical Knowledge: Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Weebly, or Thunkable knowledge is a plus).
✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
