VOLKSWAGEN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Dreyer and Reinbold Greenwood VW is undergoing a management restructuring and is looking for new technical staff to join the team. We have multiple positions available for both seasoned technicians to management. RESPONSIBILITIES
· Properly complete the service and/or repairs as assigned by management or their designated representative.
· Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures by the manufacturer.
· Maintain the workspace assigned in an organized and clean manner.
· Ensure that customers’ vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
· Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
· Achieve the production objectives set by management.
· Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
· Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a production automotive technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
- The ability to communicate effectively via computer/verbal with service advisors and work shop staff
- Knowledge of how to properly perform and document a MPI on all vehicles that are assigned.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- ASE certification a plus but not a must
- Familiarity with import vehicles (VW, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
