We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events such as catering or banquets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
Skills
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of food handling.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
- Bartending skills are advantageous for establishments that serve alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
