Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in the food service industry, with fine dining experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding menu items.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
