We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in order picking, shipping receiving, picking packing, and order picking. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, as is experience with heavy lifting and driving and using forklifts.
Job Description Summary:
Expedites and routes movement of incoming and outgoing shipments. Receives, verifies, and stocks incoming inventory. Ships domestic, international and truck shipments daily. Handle RMAs for receiving returned items back into stock or return to vendor. Processes turnkey installation bill of materials and ships them to job locations promptly. Assists in terminating cable.
Responsibilities:
- Tracks delivery progress of shipments.
- Determines method of shipment and prepares shipping documents.
- Estimates freight or postal rates and records shipment costs and weights.
- Keeps records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
- Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
- Enters shipping information into a computer by hand or automatically populating from various computer software.
- Arranges transport of goods with shipping companies.
- Packages products neatly to prevent shifting or damage during shipment.
- Arranges insurance coverage for goods.
- Coordinates activities engaged in packing and shipping merchandise.
- Routes received goods to appropriate storage areas or departments, using forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment.
- Opens received shipments and unwraps contents, using utility knives.

Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift and move items weighing 25–75 lbs.; sometimes heavier with assistance.
- Stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift, often on concrete floors.
- Frequent bending, stoop, reaching, squatting, and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Use of hands and arms to handle, move, and pack items.
- High level of physical endurance and ability to work on feet for long periods.
- Ability to hear and respond to safety signals, alarms, and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
- Tolerance for working in varying temperatures and conditions.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.
- May require weekend or holiday shifts during peak periods.
- Typically in open warehouse spaces that may be hot in summer and cold in winter unless climate-controlled.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a shipping clerk
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background test.
