Warehouse Associates are responsible for assisting in all warehouse activities including, but not limited to, unloading & loading trucks, repackaging, inventory, and maintenance. Warehouse Associates are also responsible for providing a high level of customer service by using excellent in-depth knowledge of all Authority Garage Supply products as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.
- Assist in loading trucks with United Garage Door products while adhering to company standards.
- Verify accurate loading of trucks according to customer sales orders.
- Ensure correct unloading and stocking of products in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Prioritize customer service by addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests promptly.
- Utilize mathematical skills for tasks such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as needed.
Requirements:
- Garage door installation or warehouse experience (SPECIFICALLY FOR GARAGE DOORS) preferred.
- Must have a VALID TEXAS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be familiar with warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects and equipment.
- Reach with hands and arms to access items or perform tasks.
- Ability to speak, hear, and comprehend instructions and communication.
- Occasionally stand and perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Utilize specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work in proximity to moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise levels, outdoor weather conditions, and potentially extreme temperatures.
- Adhere strictly to established safety protocols and standards.
