Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and clamp truck to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate loading and unloading of products.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are employed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to minimize risks in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
