Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work to help shipping and receiving with our products and supplies.
- Learn all positions in the group and be able to cover when others have time off.
- Ensure Safety procedures are followed.
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance schedules are followed.
- Conduct 5-S audits, as required, in each area.
- Manage resources to accommodate changes in demand.
- Perform value and non-value-added tasks as necessary.
- Scheduling tasks and processes as needed.
- Manage your area using visual controls.
- Responsible for neat and timely completion of production and other paperwork.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Training / Skills:
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Good PC skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel……)
Self-starter and capable of working with little supervision.
This position promotes knowledge of quality policy.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
- Fork Truck Trained.
- Warehouse training.
- 5-S
- This position requires basic computer skills, general math skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints, and statistical based language.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing Principles, and ISO Standards.
- High quality expectations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work 40 + hours when necessary.
Ability to lift 45 lbs and not lift over 45 lbs without assistance.
Ability to stand 8-10 hours daily.
