Warehouse & Delivery Contractor (1099) – Carpet One Columbia

Are you the kind of person who enjoys variety in your day and thrives on being helpful wherever you’re needed? We’re looking for a flexible, hands-on 1099 contractor who’s comfortable wearing many hats—from driving deliveries to doing light handyman work and helping out in the warehouse.
If you're reliable, adaptable (a bit of a chameleon), and take pride in doing quality work, you’ll fit right in with our team.
What You'll Be Doing (Monday–Friday):
- Drive our box truck to pick up and deliver flooring materials, custom rugs, and supplies
- Assist with warehouse organization, loading/unloading, and inventory
- Perform light handyman tasks—like staining wood samples, minor repairs, or small installations
- Deliver materials to homes, job sites, and help with minor showroom or site prep
- Stay flexible and jump in where needed to keep things running smoothly
Requirements:
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm
- Able to lift 75+ lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Handyman, carpentry, or light trade experience preferred
- Reliable, positive, self-directed, and professional
- Must be a 1099 contractor with liability insurance
- This is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace—safety and professionalism are essential
