Who we are looking for:
Sorinex is looking for a reliable, motivated individual to perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth and continuous production operations. This individual will be working Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. We are looking for someone who can:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with basic repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the work environment is safe, clean, and organized, following all safety regulations, following lock-out/tag-out procedures and proper handling of tools and equipment to avoid accidents.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage.
- Assist in tracking the condition and performance of equipment to help predict future maintenance needs.
- Work closely with maintenance supervisors, team members, and other departments to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding any issues or needs related to maintenance operations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues and carry out repairs as required.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and machinery to identify issues and report them for further action.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently.
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
- Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
Required Experience:
- Manufacturing: 2 years
- Tape Measuring: 2 years
- Power Tools: 2 years
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break
Work Location: In-person, Lexington, SC 29073
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
