Job Overview:
Under the supervision of a manager or a team leader, Warehouse Picker 2 performs tasks such as scanning, receiving, sorting, picking, storing, taking inventory, and preparing merchandise for order replenishment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Warehouse Picker 2 job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stocking
- Ensuring accuracy of product selection
- Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandise
- Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
- Utilization of OPEX machinery system
- Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders
- Warehouse management system usage to make accurate inventory changes
- Use of hand scanner and dual screens to enter data in a computer system
- As assigned by the Manager
- Must be able to Lift up to 50lbs independently
- Extended periods of standing/walking (10 hours/day)
- Attention to detail and ability to count
- Must be able to locate and identify specific items
- Must be able to use dual screen computer to enter data in system
