Balanced body is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our company’s warehouse activities. The responsibilities of the position include oversight of all shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing activity, supervising the warehouse team in their daily work, and maintaining effective communication with Production, Sales, and third party freight carriers. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, accurate inventory tracking, and timely fulfillment of production orders. The role reports to our Warehouse Logistics Manager.
To be successful in the position you will be able to supervise and optimize warehousing activities, ensure timely and accurate shipping of orders, and delegate effectively. An outstanding Warehouse Supervisor should have excellent leadership abilities and the ability to be responsible for the performance of their team.
You will be leading a warehousing team whose focus will be on outbound and inbound order shipments and general product storage. You should be comfortable in a fluid environment where priorities could shift often. Requirements
Supervision of Employees:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees to support operational needs.
- Management of daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and product storage.
- Supervision, performance development, and performance of warehouse staff.
- Motivating and leading teams to achieve operational goals.
- Ensuring employees adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Warehouse Operations:
- Ability to develop and implement warehouse procedures (SOP’s) and processes .
- Communicate and coordinate as needed with the management team and other department’s.
- Coordination with Logistics coordinator and third party carriers (Fedex, LTL, FTL, Int’l Containers).
- Timely and accurate processing of documentation requirements related to order processing (waybills, Int’l export docs, ERP processing, etc…).
- Ensuring accurate inventory controls for all productions, including cycle counts. Resolving inventory discrepancies and implementing solutions.
- Managing and maintaining warehouse equipment.
- Ongoing warehouse organization and cleanliness
Work Conditions:
- Must be able to work at various warehouse locations in Sacramento based on operational needs.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday Schedule. May be required to work scheduled overtime, weekends based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and performance management.
- Ability to be Forklift certified is required. Previous Train-the-Trainer is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- International shipping experience required including export doc preparation
- Experience working with large ERP systems and MS Office (Outlook and Excel) – Business Central experience is a plus

- Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs
