We are currently hiring for: Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping, optimizing warehouse processes, and leading a team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

· Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.

· Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.

Warehouse Operations:

· Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of food products.

· Ensure proper labeling, rotation, and storage of goods in compliance with FIFO (first in, first out) principles.

· Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

· Implement and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards.

Team Leadership:

· Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff.

· Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse employees to meet operational goals.

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP)

· Ensure safety protocols and conduct regular safety training sessions.

· Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.

· Address any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Process Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Implement best practices and lean warehouse techniques.

· Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any logistical challenges.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management is preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

· Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Forklift certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

· Ability to lift and move heavy items (Up to 50 lbs)

· Standing and walking for extended periods.

· Working in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and frozen storage areas.

· Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
