THIS position is primarily warehouse work, unloading, loading trucks, forklift, inventory control, accurately putting inventory up and will train 1 day as delivery driver on a biweekly basis in 26 ft Box truck, The backup driver will drive alone when a F/T driver is absent.

Warehouse workers perform daily operations and activities in the warehouse. Warehouse Workers responsibilities are not limited to but include storing and moving materials /inventory, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, delivery and scanning orders.

Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and quality control
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space and efficiency
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers-teamwork
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Forklift operation and follow all safety protocols only when approved by management to drive forklift.
- IF an ELIGIBLE Driver a warehouse worker may also substitute as a delivery driver and or assist a delivery driver.
- Perform inventory audits when necessary
- Work in inventory software, databases and systems
- Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Backup delivery drivers are responsible for everyday deliveries to our customers.
CHAUFFEURS LICENSE REQUIRED AND EXCELLENT DRIVING RECORD-NO EXCEPTIONS
They are responsible for maintaining excellent customer service in this process ,consistent and open Communication with their Customers, manager, and counter sales persons is KEY to Excellent customers service.

To driving, loading, unloading, delivering merchandise and all other aspects of the job. Our Delivery Drivers handle our freight 100% our customers do not assist drivers in their deliveries.
Sometimes delivery drivers have to pick up inventory from a vendor, they are to adhere to the same guidelines as when delivering to a customer.
Drivers are responsible for having all tickets signed and returned at the end of the day to the proper person.
- They are responsible for informing their manager IMMEDIATELY on any maintenance issues/ problems and any concerns they may have regarding the vehicle…..(SEE ATTACHED VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SHEET)
*ALL delivery drivers are to complete the daily log sheet in full and fax to the Metairie Office Daily
