Byerly RV, a proud recipient of RV Business Magazine’s Top 50 Dealer Award from 2017 to 2024, is currently seeking a skilled Warranty Parts Specialist to join our team. In this key role within our service department, you'll help drive efficiency by reducing RECT (Repair Event Cycle Time) and enhance overall productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Works in real time with technicians to assess warranty claims and parts ordering
- Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
- Verifies criteria required by manufacturer
- Tracks warranty parts by tagging with work order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed of
- Orders Warranty Parts for team of technicians
- Arranges for parts to be shipped to the manufacturer or to be scrapped
- Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor
- Maintains a professional appearance and organized work area
- Other tasks as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report with an insurable driving record
- Ability to drive, move and park recreational vehicles of all sizes
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work in multiple portals
- Experience working with Windows/Microsoft 365 preferred
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with Warranty claims required'
- Experience working with Parts required
- Experience at an RV or automotive dealership environment a plus
- RVTI Certification attained during the first 90 days of employment paid by Byerly RV
Pay & Hours:
- Hourly nonexempt
- 40 hour work week
- Monday - Friday
