Job Description
GC3 Specialty Chemicals, Inc. is looking for an experienced Water Chemistry Service Representative to cover the Central Louisiana area.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience servicing customer accounts, and be familiar with water testing and chemical treatment programs for cooling towers, boilers, reverse osmosis systems, and closed loop systems. Power plant experience, sales experience and a college degree would be a plus, but are not required.
As a Water Chemistry Service Representative with GC3, you will be assigned a number of customer accounts to visit on a regular basis each month. At each site, you will test water samples from the treated systems, check chemical inventories, troubleshoot systems and make recommendations to improve performance or reliability.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the chemical treatment program is properly applied, pumps and control equipment are working properly, and sensors are reading correctly. At the end of each visit, you will document your findings, and ensure that our customers are informed of any issues.
We are seeking an independent, self-reliant person, with knowledge of water chemistry, mechanical systems, a can-do attitude, troubleshooting skills, and most importantly--people skills.
We will pay a competitive salary based on experience, along with a car allowance or company vehicle.
