V&S Water Damage Restoration is seeking to hire a detail-oriented Water Damage Project Manager to join our restoration team. This role is critical in managing emergency service jobs for residential and commercial properties.
This is a full-time, on-call position, which requires flexibility to respond to 24/7 emergency service needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first responder to evaluate the extent of water damage and determine the scope of work.
- Take accurate moisture readings, document findings, and take clear job site photos.
- Set up drying equipment and monitor performance based on IICRC standards.
- Extract water, remove affected materials (like drywall or flooring), and ensure safe work conditions.
- Maintain communication with customers, providing professional and courteous service.
- Conduct daily moisture check-ups and document progress.
- Remove equipment once the job is complete and ensure the site is clean and safe.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or water damage restoration industry.
- IICRC Certification is required.
- Must be able to read and write English (Spanish bilingual preferred).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be computer savvy and able to document work using mobile apps or software.
- Prior office or admin experience is a plus.
