We are looking for a talented and reliable craftsman to help in the growth of our fabrication department; building custom exhibits, displays, cabinets, etc. This position requires extensive woodworking experience, cabinet-making, laminate installation experience, exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, the ability to read assembly instructions, extensive experience with shop tools, and the ability to creatively solve problems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trim Carpentry, Woodworking and/or Cabinetry experience required.
- Experience with installing laminates (Formica, etc.) required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Expert use of saws and power tools required.
- Knowledge of Fusion, CAD, or other build design softwares a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Ability to read and follow setup instructions/diagrams.
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, required.
- Ability to plan and organize projects in an efficient manner.
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members.
- Possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license and a good driving record required.
Summary of Responsibilities include:
- Fabrication of exhibit components, cabinets, displays, crates, etc.
- Preset and Assemble exhibits as needed.
- Work with the Design and Fabrication Teams on fabrication methods.
- General shop organization and cleanup as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
