Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Woodworking Machine Operators & Assemblers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and production goals.
This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Duties Woodworking Machine Operators
- Set up, operate, or tend woodworking machines, such as tear apart saw, Roger denailer, re saw notcher and table saws.
- Inspect pulleys, drive belts, guards, and fences on machines to ensure that machines will operate safely
- Assemble products on the assembly line according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Duties Assembler
- Sort and repair recycled pallets, crates, and/or super sacks using hand tools and power tools. Tear apart wooden pallets with band saw and/or denailer machine.
- Cut lumber with chop saw, resaw and Badger Saw
- Assemble and fasten materials to build pallets out of new and reclaimed wood as well as the repair of broken pallets, using crow bars, hammers, circular saws, and pneumatic nail guns.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler/tape measure, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Skills
- Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely in a production setting.
- Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Instructing - Teaching others how to do something
- Mathematics - Using mathematics to count pallets and use tape measure to ½”.
- Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
