Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and managing compensation programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the overall compensation strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various HRIS systems and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Duties
- Administer compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Collaborate with HR teams to support employee orientation and onboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and other applicable labor laws.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Dayforce, Oracle, Paylocity, Workday, or Lawson for data management and reporting.
- Analyze compensation data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of job descriptions and evaluation processes.
- Support management in addressing employee compensation inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compensation analysis or HR-related roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Salesforce or other relevant platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of compensation trends and best practices within the industry.
