Summary
We are seeking a skilled Working Shop Foreman Mechanic to lead our team of mechanics. In this role, you will oversee shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards in our logistics services. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. You will provide support and guidance on the working of Paccar and Cummins engines in Kenworth T680 or Peterbilt 579.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and manage staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in service delivery.
- Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation for various logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the shop.
- Manage budgeting processes related to shop operations and maintenance.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in logistics and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management.
- Experience with construction management software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
