Job Summary:
KOA is looking for a dependable and hard-working Yard Crew Member to join our campground team. As part of the yard crew, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor environment for our campers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and keeps the grounds in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscaping and groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, weeding, and etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, RV/tent sites, and campground roads
- Set up and take down equipment, picnic tables, and signage as needed
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and trash removal
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely (e.g., mowers, weed eaters, blowers)
- Support the campground team with special projects and event setup
- Provide friendly, courteous assistance to guests when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred.
- Ability to operate light machinery and power tools safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Shifts may include weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings. Work days very each week.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.16 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
