Yard Shag Driver- PBX Dakota City - B Shift - Full Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drivers are responsible to shag trailers to various on-site locations at the plant, climb in and out of the shag tractor, open trailer doors and put safety devices in place (jack stand and wheel chalks) and perform other duties as needed. Must be able and willing to routinely push, pull, carry and lift 50 pounds or more and use hands and arms above shoulder level.
Must be able and willing to work in extreme hot/ cold/wet/dry environment, willing to stand 8-10 hours a day.
B-shift position hours:
MON, WED, THURS, FRI, SAT 1:30PM-10:00PM
Sunday and Tuesday Off
Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, in person and in writing, able to use touch screen or manual tracking system to keep accurate flow of trailer and shag trucks. This position requires person to wash trailer if necessary and requires the ability to accurately complete product protection activities.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and accommodate occasional shift changes.
- Previous shag driving preferred but no required
- Applicants must provide Social Security Number to be consider.
- All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment
- At least 18 years of age
- A valid state issued driver's license
- No DUI or DWIs in the last 12 months
- Clean MVR
Must have a valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 rehires.
