Summary
We are seeking a passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at Mayeisha's Fine Art Studio. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching martial arts techniques and principles to students, helping them develop skills in self-discipline, confidence, and physical fitness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging martial arts lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
- Instruct classes in martial arts techniques, including but not limited to karate and judo.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions by enforcing proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other instructors to integrate martial arts into broader fitness programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a martial arts instructor or coach in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of various martial arts disciplines, particularly karate and judo.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Experience working with students of different ages and skill levels is essential.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
