Customer Service Representative

SummaryThe Customer Service / Marketing Representative position interacts with customers to provide product and service information, problem resolution and customer service. Provides pre-determined support and in-coming call back-up to the Sales Department. Has a key role in the coordination and designing of marketing campaigns and literature.

Job Duties:

• Processes initial and follow-up customer calls, purchase orders, sales order entries, change orders, adjustments and cancellations while maintaining good customer rapport in a “best in class” environment.
• Assists customer with order determination and processing through use of the online catalogue or through liaison activities with the materials, engineering and shipping departments.
• Manages administration aspects of spare parts through maintenance of website inventory and effective, timely handling of customer calls and requests.
• Creates and prepares customer service and sales tracking reports to ensure accurate measure of results for spare parts sales and sales activity in general.
• Maintains customer files to include order status, lead times and other pertinent information; reviews sales orders for accuracy.
• Provides pricing, drawings, QC documents, purchase orders and acknowledgments per customer request.
• Coordinates and designs marketing material such as the company newsletter,
• Responsible for the distribution and mailing of customer marketing material, appreciation items and invitations to FIBA cooperate events.
• Updates and maintains various sales/customer documents, pricing menus and ISO sales documentation.
• Provides general sales support to VP Sales and Sales Manager.

Job Requirements

• B.A. in Business preferred but not required, but will substitute equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment working in inside sales and/or customer service.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, ERP system and strong capabilities using InDesign and Photoshop for marketing purposes.
