Purpose: To uphold ‘The JEAR Way’ and support JEAR’s strategic direction. The Customer Implementation Specialist is responsible for protecting JEAR by providing day-to-day customer service functions including investigating history, evaluating customers credit standing, and assisting in set-up of new and returning customers.

Collaborate with sales teams as an initial contact and resource for new customers in establishing new relationships, including being the point person for customer packets.
Ensure accurate customer setup in JEARnet by confirming details with sales teams, contacting credit references, and inputting information into system for review
Compile credit information using JEAR’s policy for credit checks and references and input into TMS system.
Obtain information about potential creditors from banks, credit bureaus, and other credit services, and provide reciprocal information if requested.
Interview customers by telephone or to obtain financial data needed to complete credit report.
Preliminary analysis is to be conducted of each customer and included in customer profile to be evaluated in the extension of credit. This includes payment trend analysis, credit report evaluation, and trade information obtained from credit references and the bank.
Generate leads for sales teams from references given and send to Credit Manager for appropriate distribution.
Analyze credit reports and communicate findings to Credit Manager.
Confirm customer addresses and information provided within packets echoes credit reports and JEARnet.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Credit Manager and/or other members of leadership team.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED (or education equivalent).
Knowledge:
Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
