Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for leading production and maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing performance while meeting customer expectations for quality and delivery. You will play a key role in developing operational strategies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing resources, and enhancing equipment reliability across the plant.

The work model for the role is: On site

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Nogales Transformers Plant in Nogales.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Lead production and maintenance operations to achieve targets related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
  • Develop and execute operational plans, budgets, KPIs, and improvement initiatives that drive world-class manufacturing performance.
  • Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Fulfillment, and Engineering teams to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and inventory management.
  • Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and implementing preventive actions.
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, cost optimization, and process excellence.
  • Oversee maintenance strategies, reliability programs, lifecycle management, and capital improvement projects to maximize equipment availability and plant performanc

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years experience leading manufacturing operations and maintenance teams within an industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and change management capabilities.
  • Advanced English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience managing budgets, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in cross-functional environments.
