About the Role
A shipping agency is seeking a Shipping Agency Operations Manager with knowledge of port operations, cargo unloading procedures, port service providers, operational charges, and government departments responsible for ship inspections.
Requirements
- Familiarity with unloading operations.
- Knowledge of relationships and operational processes involving ports.
- Familiarity with various cargo unloading methods.
- Knowledge of unloading procedures at different ports.
- Familiarity with labour companies operating at various ports.
- Established familiarity with port managers and operations supervisors.
- Knowledge of additional port operating charges and services, including refuelling, delivering materials to ships, and completing the necessary documentation.
- Familiarity with government departments responsible for ship inspections.
