Senior Manager, European Enterprise Marketing
Functieomschrijving
We are looking for a strategic, commercially-minded Senior Marketing Manager to lead Instacart Enterprise's go-to-market efforts across the UK and Europe. This is a foundational, full-funnel role — spanning brand, demand generation, sales enablement, partnerships, and events — that requires someone who can set strategy and execute it. You will be the primary marketing point of contact for our European commercial organization, working in close coordination with US-based BD, product marketing, growth marketing, PR, and partnerships teams. The role reports into the US. This is a remote position based in the Netherlands.
About the Team
Instacart Enterprise provides grocery retailers with the technology they need to operate and grow modern retail experiences — online and in store. Our products include Storefront Pro (e-commerce), Caper (AI-powered smart carts), FoodStorm (order management), and Fulfilment Pro (last-mile and fulfilment operations). We are at an early and consequential stage of our European expansion, with anchor deployments underway and a growing pipeline across the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany.
About the Role
- Own the European marketing strategy end-to-end: set the approach, manage the roadmap, and report on performance against commercial objectives including pipeline contribution and deal support
- Deeply understand the European grocery technology landscape — including the competitive set, retailer buying dynamics, and the market-by-market nuances that shape how decisions get made
- Adapt and maintain localized brand and product narratives, as well as sales enablement assets, for priority markets (UK, FR, ES, DE) that will resonate with our target audience.
- Coordinate with the growth marketing team and local agencies to plan and execute full-funnel digital campaigns, including paid search, LinkedIn, programmatic, and trade media placements.
- Oversee EU website localization and optimization efforts to ensure Instacart Enterprise has a credible, locally relevant digital presence
- Develop a thought leadership and content marketing strategy in collaboration with PR that provide Instacart with independent, data-led credibility in European markets
- Work with the partnerships team to develop co-marketing materials and joint GTM programs with referral partners including consulting firms, complementary technology companies, and trade associations
- Manage on-the-ground event logistics and stakeholder coordination for European trade shows and proprietary/partner events, working with the central events team and local vendors to ensure seamless execution
About You
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B marketing at a SaaS or enterprise technology company, with meaningful experience owning marketing in a specific geography or international market
- Proven track record of introducing technology into new or nascent markets — building brand awareness, establishing credibility, and generating pipeline where little existed before
- Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and how marketing supports multi-quarter enterprise deals
- Experience with partner marketing strategies, including co-marketing and channel sales
- Proven ability to develop market-specific positioning and messaging that adapts a global platform narrative for local buyer needs and language
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex products into compelling narratives and crisp sales tools
- Highly organized with strong project management skills — comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams across internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across time zones and functions, and to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ambiguity and a bias for action
Experience of any of the following would be a PLUS:
- Experience marketing enterprise technology to grocery or food retail audiences
- Familiarity with the European grocery retail landscape
- Fluency in one or more European languages (a plus, not a requirement)
- Experience in a high-growth or expansion-stage company

Born from the firsthand experience of navigating the tumultuous world of startups, Funded.club emerged in 2019 as a guiding light for founders. The mind behind this venture, Ray Gibson, remembers the relentless pressure of the startup grind all too well – the morning pitches to investors, the lunchtime bug fixes, and the pre-dinner candidate interviews. It was this very journey, with all its highs and lows, that sparked the creation of a service built by founders, for founders. The core mission was clear: to help fellow entrepreneurs succeed by providing the support they desperately need but often struggle to find – people who understand the startup DNA, who have skin in thegame, and who are ready to grow alongside the venture. What began as a service to help startups with investor readiness and recruitment has since blossomed into a comprehensive growth partner. Funded.club has evolved its culture into a modern, 'Teal' organization, inspired by Frederic Laloux's 'Reinventing Organizations'. This self-organizing structure empowers every team member, allowing good ideas to surface from any corner of the company. Decisions are made through an efficient and respectful 'advice process', fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. The company champions a healthy work-life balance, encouraging its global team to plan their schedules around their families and passions. This philosophy extends to their compensation, with a commitment to equal rewards for all team members, regardless of their location. With a growing focus on social impact, Funded.club actively works towards a customer base where at least half are social businesses and sustainability solutions, aiming to channel top talent towards organizations that are making a positive mark on the world.
