The Opportunity

Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager ANZ, this leadership role sits at the intersection of customer service, supply chain operations, and commercial success.

You'll lead a team of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Planners and oversee customer fulfilment activities, ensuring exceptional service delivery to key retail partners including Woolworths NZ and Foodstuffs. Working closely with internal Supply Chain, Sales and Planning teams, you'll drive collaboration, optimise performance, and help deliver Sanitarium's customer supply chain strategy across Grocery, Café, and Energy & Convenience channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused supply chain professional who enjoys building strong relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing Customer Supply Chain team.

Manage key supply chain relationships with major NZ retail customers.

Ensure excellent customer service through effective order fulfilment, efficient transport management and outstanding supply management.

Partner cross-functionally to support seasonal events, promotional activations, new product launches and to enable business growth objectives.

Drive supply chain performance through KPI management, reporting and continuous improvement.

Strengthen collaboration with customers, transport providers and internal teams to deliver outstanding service outcomes.

About You

You are a confident relationship builder and people leader who thrives in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

You'll bring:

Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, customer supply chain or customer service leadership roles.

Experience managing key customer or retailer relationships.

Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building engaged high-performing teams.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed commercial decisions.

Experience working cross-functionally with planning, operations, sales and finance teams.

A continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field (desirable).
