Role summary

We are seeking a senior SAP professional to lead a delivery-focused SAP team and oversee SAP initiatives across the organization. The role combines hands-on SAP knowledge, people leadership, project delivery accountability and strong stakeholder management. The successful candidate will own delivery timelines, budgets and quality while building and developing a high-performing SAP capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional SAP team including SAP consultants, business analysts and development resources.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of SAP projects and enhancements (design, build, test, deploy, support) ensuring timelines, quality and budget objectives are met.
• Manage day-to-day resource allocation, capacity planning and workload forecasting to meet project roadmaps.
• Apply Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and lead ceremonies or coordinate with Agile coaches to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and executives: provide clear status reporting, risk escalation, decision options and impact analysis.
• Define solution approach and participate in solution design and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business needs.
• Own vendor coordination and governance: manage external suppliers, third-party integrators and managed services to ensure contractual and delivery SLAs are met.
• Monitor project budgets and financials; own trade-off decisions and prioritization to protect delivery commitments.
• Establish and track delivery KPIs (on-time, on-budget, quality, customer satisfaction, system availability) and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure operational readiness and handover to support teams, and drive continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
• Promote compliance with change control, security, testing and deployment processes.

💼 How can you contribute to the team?

Required experience & skills

• Proven senior SAP background with hands-on experience in solution design, implementation and support of SAP landscapes (experience with S/4HANA migrations and core modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, BW etc. is a plus).
• Minimum 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in a people leadership or delivery lead role (SAP Delivery Manager, Team Lead, Practice Lead, Project Manager).
• Practical experience managing SAP resources, business analysts and development teams (internal and/or extended teams).
• Strong experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies; comfortable operating in hybrid waterfall/Agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills; ability to present complex issues succinctly and make decisions under uncertainty.
• Demonstrated ability in capacity planning, resource management, performance development and building high-performing teams.
• Experience managing vendors and third-party partners, including contract/SLA governance.
• Solid project financial management

• Relevant professional certifications beneficial (Scrum Master/Product Owner, PMP, Prince2, SAP certification).

• Experience with cloud-based SAP services and integration technologies.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and automated testing/deployment for SAP landscapes.
