Welcome to AutoGlobal Group. Welcome to driving the future.

The Role

The Service Manager runs the branch workshop as a business. You own every repair order from appointment to vehicle release, and you are accountable for workshop throughput, fixing it right the first time, service revenue and labor margin, warranty claim recovery, and customer satisfaction for the branch. You lead the Service Advisors, the Shop Foreman, and the technician team, and you report to the AGI Service Head.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Workshop Capacity & Throughput: Plans daily bay loading and technician assignment from the appointment book. Keeps technician hours sold on target and clears aging repair orders.
  • Repair Order Control: Owns the repair order lifecycle in ERP, from opening and customer-approved estimate to additional-work authorization, quality check, and closing. No work starts without an approved estimate, and no repair order stays open after the vehicle is released.
  • Service Revenue & Labor Margin: Delivers the branch’s monthly service revenue target across labor, parts through service, and sublet. Applies the approved labor rates and flat-rate times, and approves discounts only within the discount matrix.
  • Quality Control & Comeback Prevention: Ensures every job passes final inspection and road test before release. Tracks every comeback, finds the root cause, and puts the fix in place through training or process changes.
  • Warranty & Technical Escalation: Checks warranty eligibility before work starts and files complete warranty claims within the distributor’s deadline and warranty channel. Escalates technical cases the workshop cannot resolve.
  • Customer Experience & Complaint Resolution: Owns branch service complaints: acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 days. Reviews customer satisfaction survey results monthly and acts on every unhappy customer.
  • Roadside Assistance: Manages the branch response to roadside assistance cases, from dispatch or towing to repair and case closure.
  • Customer Retention: Runs maintenance (PMS) reminders and post-service follow-up calls through the Service Advisors, and tracks how many customers come back.
  • Parts Coordination: Raises parts requests against open repair orders, tracks back orders with the Parts team, and flags recurring shortages for stocking.
  • Workshop Safety, Tools & Equipment: Keeps the workshop safe and organized (5S) and keeps lifts, diagnostic scanners, and special tools in working order and within calibration.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervises, coaches, and evaluates Service Advisors, the Foreman, and service admin staff; develops technicians through the Foreman. Maintains the technician skills matrix and schedules principal and distributor training.
  • Service Reporting: Issues the Daily Operating Report and the monthly service report (revenue, labor margin, productivity, comebacks, warranty, customer satisfaction) to the AGI Service Head.
