The role of Full Stack Java Developer focuses on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications within the Cards Service Domain. The consultant is responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities while ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities through various security assessments.
• Drive secure coding practices and contribute to improving security posture.
• Support CI/CD processes with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and implementations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience with proven ability to test changes.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Angular and Angular Material.
• Experience with Kafka and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking, cards, or payments domain.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• DevSecOps and vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
• Technical mentoring and coaching experience.
