As an experienced developer within Mindera you need to have an excellent understanding of how to define and deliver solutions iteratively and collaboratively. You’ll be challenged to solve complex problems and build seamless user interactions to world-class standards.

Requirements

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Being involved in all areas of delivery, with the technical gravitas to mentor and inspire the development team, helping your team improve by sharing your own knowledge, experience, and insights;
• Taking ownership of your code every step of the way - from development to deployment and maintenance;
• Diagnosing issues in production and devising solutions for them;
• Being an integral part of solutions design and implementation;
• Challenging business requirements, to ensure you are continuously delivering the best possible outcome;
• Harnessing innovation and driving adoption of new technologies to deliver business value;
• Contributing to shaping our online technology roadmap, influencing our future technical direction, and balancing passion with precision to deliver exceptional online service and solutions for our customers;
• Conducting technical interviews for positions within your area of expertise.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience as a Senior Java Developer, with solid knowledge of backend development and experience working on complex, production-level systems.
• Proven hands-on experience running, maintaining, and troubleshooting Shopify integrations in a production environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
• Solid hands-on experience with GraphQL, including designing, developing, and maintaining GraphQL APIs.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, ideally including services such as DynamoDB and solutions for secrets management.

• Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies, ideally in systems where asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures are used.

• Experience with OpenTelemetry and observability practices, including monitoring and tracing distributed applications.
• Fluency in English;
• Mandatory to be located in Portugal;
• Working hours

Availability to work 08:00 - 17:00 CET.
