Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete execution and management of Measurement Solutions & Systems (MSS) projects across the Middle East & Africa region. The role includes ownership of all project management activities, technical coordination, commercial administration, customer interface, budget control, schedule management, and successful project delivery while ensuring compliance with Emerson standards and customer requirements.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead and manage assigned projects from order booking through final project close-out.
- Review commercial contracts, costing sheets, payment terms, and project requirements during project handover from Sales.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customers, Local Business Partners (LBPs), and the Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage technical and commercial communications with customers and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams located across global engineering centers.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Support vendor and subcontractor evaluation, selection, and performance management.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, datasheets, specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate customer inspections, FAT activities, and project acceptance milestones.
- Support commissioning teams during pre-commissioning and site activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson Trade Compliance, Quality, and HSE requirements.

You demonstrate strong project leadership and excel in managing multiple stakeholders across diverse cultures and locations. You are customer-focused, action-oriented, and capable of balancing technical and commercial priorities to achieve successful project outcomes.
For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Project Engineering and/or Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Metering Systems, Bi-directional and Compact Provers, Gas & Liquid Analyzers, Sampling Systems, and Gas Chromatographs.
- Familiarity with metrology requirements of major end users across the Middle East & Africa region.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, and ERP/business systems.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- PMP Certification.
- MBA qualification.
- Experience in preparation and review of project documents such as FDS, FAT Procedures, ITP, and O&M Manuals.
- Experience managing complex international projects within the Oil & Gas or Process Automation industry.
