Your mission

As a Sales Compensation Program Analyst, you will be primarily focused on the delivery and successful execution of sales incentive plans. You will be responsible for supporting the design, system configuration, running monthly reports on sales performance actuals, preparing compensation payout analysis, maintaining compensation documents, providing new hire support, and partnering with internal team members to review requirements, design solutions, configure and test system deliverables. Hands-on configuration experience and knowledge of Xactly or similar Sales Performance Management tool is required.

You will highlight risks and opportunities within the compensation team, working closely with the Head of Global Sales Compensation and Program Managers to provide overall business support to the business’ sales & operations teams.

Additionally, you will contribute in supporting portfolio and territory management, quota design, and partnering with the Sales Business Intelligence & Reporting team to provide Sales reporting.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with top-notch execution skills who will work cross-functionally with the Sales, Finance, HR and Operations teams. The output from the Analyst will be on-time and accurate payout statements for the Sales organization and timely processing of compensation change requests.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • SALES SUPPORT:
  • Develop an in-depth compensation knowledge, best practices, and principals to meet/overachieve business expectations
  • Creates and delivers reports to the sales organization based on Sales actuals during plan performance periods
  • Plays a key role in the processing of Sales reports, compensation calculators and payout statements
  • Develops statistical indicators and conducts trend analysis to predict yearly accrual performance and potential plan design flaws
  • Delivers and monitors new hire reports to ensure compensation documents are delivered on time
  • Highlights sales representative performance to plan, stacked rankings, outliers, and exceptions within the compensation plan design
  • Design best fit reporting dashboard solutions against desired requirements, addressing KPIs across various functions
  • Provide data analysis, identify key trends, and prepare reports to assist decision-making regarding revenue / business growth and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, system admins, data stewards and others to ensure the accurate collection and analysis of reporting requirements, including new data requirements, reporting layout and system integrations
  • Provide support during the Annual Commission Planning Process such as historical performance analysis and modeling
  • Complete system configuration changes as assigned and assist with developing, documenting, and performing system and user acceptance tests
  • Provide support during the Annual sales compensation Planning Process such as historical performance analysis and modeling for system configuration
  • TRACK SALES TEAM PERFORMANCE:
  • Provides analytical support to sales teams in deploying Sales Compensation plans for their sales personnel
  • Addresses queries from sales managers and sales reps concerning sales incentive plan mechanics and develops a thorough understanding of compensation plan mechanics and payouts
  • Works with sales reps to provide understanding on how to maximize their plan performance
  • Gains in-depth understandings of compensation design under the guidance of the Director, Global Sales Compensation & Operations to progress development of systematic tools and processes to aid in the compensation process
  • Liaises with support teams (HR, Finance, Operations & Payroll) to understand requirements and improve underlying processes
  • SYSTEMS AND TOOLS:
  • Hands-on Xactly Incent configuration and implementation experience required
  • Plays key role in tracking and delivery of sales performance actuals, compensation calculators and payout statements
  • Develops and distributes SalesForce reports as requested
  • Enables sales with easy-to-use calculators and best-practices to maximize payouts
  • Aids in development of visualization tools to prepare executive ready presentations for sales leaders

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Compensation in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related function is a plus
  • Working with a Sales Commission tool is a must (Xactly, Callidus, SPIFF, Captive IQ)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable reports, metrics, and insights
  • Proficiency in Excel (advance user), PowerPoint, Salesforce experience highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with a diverse teams and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Ability to handle variety of complex tasks, working with partial/conflicting data
  • Motivation and willingness to work on big, time-sensitive projects
  • Independence and self-organization to navigate you through ambiguous situations
  • Fluency in English and good communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills
