Role overview🚀
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our finance function in Stockholm on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will help protect the delivery of financial reporting, audit and financial controls during a period of change.
Combining hands-on technical accounting with team leadership for a team of a small team, you will oversee statutory and consolidated reporting for the Benifex entities. You will also work closely with senior finance leaders, external auditors and teams across Commercial Finance, FP&A, Tax and Treasury.
This role suits a proactive and resilient finance expert with some leadership experience, who can onboard quickly, identify risks and create stability in a changing environment.
Responsibilities🤘
- Prepare statutory accounts and consolidated accounts for the Benifex entities.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and manage the year-end audit through to completion.
- Manage relationships with third-party advisers and consultants.
- Take ownership of the intercompany process and advise on transfer-pricing requirements.
- Own balance-sheet governance, including reconciliations, substantiation and the resolution of outstanding items.
- Present balance-sheet reconciliations to the Finance Director on a regular basis.
- Clearly explain variances and provide robust supporting evidence for reported balances.
- Lead and support the finance team, maintaining delivery standards and providing clear direction.
- Ensure accounting and reporting activities are completed accurately and in line with the relevant reporting cycles.
- Build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across teams and organisational levels.
What we are looking for🔎
- A fully qualified chartered accountant with at least five years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience preparing or auditing statutory accounts through to Group consolidation level.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 101, particularly IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience.
- Experience managing or leading a finance or accounting team.
- Solid experience working within a finance team, with a strong understanding of month-end, year-end and statutory reporting cycles.
- Experience managing external audits and acting as the key contact for audit teams.
- Strong balance-sheet ownership, reconciliation and substantiation experience.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and transfer-pricing requirements. .
- The ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a demanding environment.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence upwards, downwards and across multiple teams.
- Professional fluency in English and Swedish

- Experience from similar environments such as technology, SaaS, payroll, HR solutions.
