Automation Analyst - IT Infrastructure
Job description
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Typically 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in automation, enterprise monitoring, observability, IT operations or a related technical role.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in scripting, monitoring configuration, dashboard or alert development, and operational support.
Key Domain/ Technical
Skills
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Linux and Windows operating systems, networks, storage, and virtualisation.
• Practical scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on exposure to one or more monitoring or observability tools such as BMC Helix, ITSM Helix Remedy, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
• Experience with dashboards, alert rules, event analysis, log analysis, integrations, and operational troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, DevOps practices, CI/CD, APIs, version control, or AI Ops concepts is advantageous.
