Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair marine automation systems onboard vessels.
Commission and calibrate automation and instrumentation systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic control systems.
Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control panels.
Service vessel alarm, monitoring, control, and safety systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Prepare technical reports, service reports, calibration certificates, and commissioning documentation.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Travel locally and overseas when required to support vessel operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in marine automation, offshore, shipyard, or vessel maintenance.
Alarm and monitoring systems
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
