Job Description: Business Analyst – Avaloq

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Business Analyst to support banking and wealth management technology projects. The role will focus on analysing business requirements, configuring Avaloq solutions, and working with stakeholders to deliver effective system enhancements and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements related to Avaloq systems.
• Analyse wealth management, private banking, and investment operations processes.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and Avaloq requirements.
• Support Avaloq configuration, testing, implementation, and system enhancements.
• Prepare process maps, user stories, test cases, and UAT documentation.
• Work closely with business users, developers, project managers, and Avaloq specialists.
• Investigate system issues, perform impact analysis, and support resolution.
• Coordinate data migration, interfaces, reporting, and system integration activities.
• Provide user support, training, and post-implementation assistance.
• Ensure solutions comply with business, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking, wealth management, or financial services.
• Practical experience with Avaloq Core Banking or related Avaloq modules.
• Knowledge of securities, payments, portfolios, corporate actions, client onboarding, or wealth management processes.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, and UAT.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar tools.
• Avaloq certification or implementation experience is an advantage.
