Business Development Manager ( SEA)

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Drive business growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia by developing and executing market-specific business strategies.
• Identify, develop, and manage high-value sales opportunities within target industries and customer segments.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Establish preferred partners by securing vendor registrations and approved supplier status with key stakeholders.

Strategic Account Management

• Develop relationships with major end-users, government agencies, consultants, EPC contractors, system integrators, and strategic partners.
• Promote latest products, technologies, and solutions to decision-makers and industry influencers.
• Identify and pursue strategic projects within targeted sectors and drive opportunities from specification stage through project award.

Project Pursuit & Commercial Negotiation

• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate directly with customers to secure project wins.
• Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to develop solutions that address customer requirements.
• Support tendering activities, proposal preparation, and project pursuit strategies.

Market Intelligence & Business Planning

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments across Southeast Asia.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market position.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support product development and business strategy initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of Sales or Business Development experience, preferably within Southeast Asia.
• Experience in the Data Centre industry is highly preferred, including exposure to: Electrical Distribution Systems Prefabricated Substations UPS Systems Switchgear Critical Power Infrastructure
• Proven track record in developing new business opportunities and managing strategic customer relationships.

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of one or more of the following sectors:

• Data Centres & Commercial Buildings
• Utilities & Power Distribution
• Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
• Renewable Energy
• Infrastructure Projects
