Cash Management and Client Services Manager – Fiduciary Services
Job description
Our client is a leading fiduciary services firm. They are looking for a Cash Management and Client Services Manager based in Singapore. Reporting to the SVP of Finance and Client Service, you will deliver superior cash management and client service for all assigned clients/funds, ensuring that cash management services as well as operational, administrative and compliance activities are met in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
OPERATIONS
- Key contributor to the cash management team and to provide cash management support to the Client Services Managers. Cash Management includes maintenance of all online banking platforms, processing of payments. Spearhead and providing expertise advise for all bank account opening matters/discussions and updating of signatories from time to time, troubleshooting and ensuring all payments processed is complaint with the relevant AML/KYC laws and regulations. Implementation of new payment system, as and when required.
- Plan, allocate and monitor payments requests and to ensure that all payments are processed per SLA.
- Maintaining of list of bank accounts opened and managed by the firm and ensuring all regulatory acknowledgements and indemnities are tracked and in order.
- Specialist for custody, escrow and agency products
- Deliver to relevant SLA's and complete client instructions in accordance with agreed timeframes, including timely funds transfers
- Crafting, updating and implementing operations manual for new and existing clients under portfolio.
- Build & maintain operational relationships with allocated portfolio of clients
- Ensure working knowledge of all client related matters to provide back-up and operational flexibility
- Timely invoicing for services provided and track prompt payments from clients. Manage AR aging report for clients under portfolio
- Timely submission of transactional reports to clients, if required
- Timely execution of ad-hoc requests including opening of new bank accounts and establishing bank relationship with appointed banks
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required, such as monitoring of capital calls and putting in place an organised tracking system for tracking incoming funds arising from clients’ capital calls
- Support onboarding activities including review of documents and spearhead discussion relating to custody, escrow and agency products
- Assist the team in the on boarding of new clients and funds
- Ensure files are in order for internal and external audits.
OPERATIONALCOMPLIANCE
- Ensure adequate compliance controls are set in place for the company and its clients and ongoing monitoring to ensure effectiveness
- Review of any potential legal and compliance requirements attaching to disclosure documentation and instructions from client and creation of advice, direction and checklists (if required) for operational staff to ensure compliance with obligations
- Monitor and complete all compliance requirements for allocated clients/funds
- To liaise and co-ordinate with Compliance for AML / KYC reports / checks on new clients and assist on on-going KYC monitoring of existing clients based on risk framework
- Co-ordinate with Compliance to complete checks against Client Connect to ensure all legal obligations of clients and company are observed and/or adhered to on a timely basis
- Assist to prepare/review compliance checklist for clients in accordance to risk framework
- When required, role may extend to include risk management activities, projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified with Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics degrees.
- Minimum 5 years’ Financial Services or related experience
- Experience in the establishment, maintenance, and administration of client bank accounts
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with senior management as well as regulators and intermediaries (such as banks, lawyers & auditors)
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills and experience
- Strong attention to detail and compliance focus
- Superior planning, organisation and project management skills
- Strong team player
