Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate / Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
- Populate and analyze financial data to support due diligence engagements
- Prepare detailed reports, schedules, and deliverables for clients and stakeholders
- Research and evaluate technical accounting issues to assess implications on transaction valuation and structuring
- Conduct industry and company research using online tools and publicly available information.
- Contribute to client presentations by synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights
Financial Due Diligence Assistant Manager responsibilities also include:
- Support the management and delivery of client engagements, coordinating day-to-day activities to meet project timelines
- Establish effective working relationships with clients and other stakeholders throughout due diligence engagements
- Coordinate engagement activities and liaise with clients to obtain information and address queries
- Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience for the Senior Associate role, preferably in a professional services environment, with exposure to M&A Advisory and/or Financial Due Diligence
- At least 4 years of relevant experience for the Assistant Manager role, preferably in a professional services environment, with exposure to M&A Advisory and/or Financial Due Diligence, as well as experience in mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members
- Experience engaging with external clients and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and develop solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen
