As we continue to scale, we are looking for an IoT Platform & Solutions Manager to join our Singapore-based team.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced IoT Platform & Solutions Manager who is passionate about connected products, IoT technologies and digital solutions. This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of IoT projects, from solution design and development through integration, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation. Working closely with Product, Engineering, IT and external technology partners, the role will deliver secure, scalable and reliable connected-product solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge, project leadership skills and hands-on experience across IoT devices, cloud platforms, backend services, APIs and mobile applications.

Roles And

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IoT project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, integration, testing, deployment, production support and ongoing maintenance. Owning the overall technical solution across devices, connectivity, cloud/backend, APIs, data flows and mobile applications.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across device, cloud and application layers, and evaluate emerging IoT, smart-home and AI technologies for potential application to future products.
• Guide device-to-cloud communication (MQTT, HTTPS/REST APIs) and cloud architecture (preferably AWS), reviewing and validating solution designs, APIs, data flows and technical design proposed by development partners for scalability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure solutions are built on privacy-by-design and secure-by-design principles, including device authentication, encryption, API security, access control/IAM, network security and secure data transmission, and establish technical standards for solution maintainability and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, IT, cybersecurity and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical delivery plans and manage external partners and vendors to ensure technical quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in IoT solutions, technical delivery, solution engineering, software/application technology, or related IT roles, with demonstrated experience leading complex technology projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end IoT architecture, including connected devices, device-to-cloud communication, cloud services, APIs, data processing and mobile applications.
• Understanding of modern application architecture across mobile and web front ends and backend services. Practical knowledge of IoT communication technologies such as MQTT and HTTPS, as well as API-based system integration.
• Good understanding of cloud-native architecture, preferably AWS (microservices, databases, serverless, containerisation), and experience working with physical connected devices on how firmware, hardware, cloud and applications interact.
• Ability to review software architecture and technical designs.
• Strong understanding of IoT cybersecurity principles across device, connectivity, cloud, API and application layers.
• Demonstrated experience managing external development partners, technology vendors.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience leading technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across multiple system layers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
