Junior Application Engineer (1-Year Contract) – Up to $3,200 + Monthly Incentives

Salary: Up to $3,200 + Performance Incentives

Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and sales representatives on product applications, specifications and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email and on-site visits.
• Conduct product application testing, system setup and fine-tuning.
• Provide post-sales technical training to customers.
• Prepare and update technical manuals and training materials.
• Assist sales teams with technical demonstrations when required.
• Support continuous improvement of technical support processes.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related Engineering disciplines.
• Less than 3 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Familiarity with logic control, HMI programming and industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus TCP, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, PLC, servo motors or programming languages (Python, C#, Java, SQL) will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for technical support.
